Completed My Be First Year

Completed My BE First Year 🎯

I secured an 8.3 CGPA in my first year — and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Beyond the marks, this year taught me a lot. Here’s what stood out:

  1. Touch typing — I got inspired by watching the sir at an online café type effortlessly, and it clicked: this skill would seriously benefit my CS journey ahead. So I learned it.
  2. Computer fundamentals — Still using Windows 7, I learned the basics of how a computer actually works: file systems, installing apps, browsers, and more.
  3. C programming — I learned the basics of C and read Let’s C cover to cover. It was a genuinely great book. I remember sitting on the roof in the morning sunlight, just reading through it.
  4. Web basics — Picked up the fundamentals of HTML and CSS.
